Introduction
44 seasons? You must be thinking that I am either crazy or that there are typing mistakes in the title but your predictions are both wrong. In fact there are truly 44 seasons in Scotland! Having 4 different seasons in one year already makes people have mixed feelings but can you imagine having 44 seasons.
You can notice Scotland's weather changes in each area. Visit Scotland stated that if you drove 20 minutes past a town, you will be surprised that the weather changes! There is an old Scottish saying “There is no such thing as having wrong weather, you are just wearing the wrong clothes!” There are so many attractive places and events in Scotland that will allow you to relax and have fun. Each season can be filled with lots of great activities that you may never think of. These can be undertaking alone, with your partner or with the whole family. So what can we do during the seasons?
Spring
Cherry blossom in Meadows, Edinburgh.
Months: March, April and May.
Temperature: 7°C (45°F) to 13 °C (55°F).
Create a lot of memories with your loved one, holding hands and walking along the path where you can see daffodils, bluebells, cherry blossom and rhododendrons bursting into bloom. It is a great time to have a picnic with your family too! There are plenty of activities you can enjoy during this season. No time limit, no weather limit. What are you waiting for, start planning your trip now!
Spring is the best time to experience Easter Day! People say that curiosity kills the bachelor but if you are curious about how Scottish people celebrate Easter have a look at Scotland's Enchanting Kingdom. Some activities you can do during Easter Break include the Cocobean factory and Laggan outdoors. To find out more about activities to undertake during Easter click here. If you are still thinking that Scotland only has 4 seasons? Lets proceed with the next seasons.
Summer
The East Beach at Lossiemouth, Highlands.
Months: June, July and August.
Temperature: 15°C (59°F) to 17°C (63 °F).
Summer is the ideal time for outdoor activities. Do not let your brain melt throughout the day when you can cool it down with some delicious, mouth-watering ice-cream and lay down at the beach. It is time to apply the sun lotion, prepare for a tan and burying people in the sand. Summer and ice-cream, Summer and beach. Like the paired words, this can be an excellent couple activity. Do you like Edward Cullen, the pale vampire from Twilight? Then why not spend your time at Twilight Golf. The Highland, Northern and Western island have up to 19 hours of daylight during Summer. You can also try dusk till dawn golf at Durness. Whilst undertaking these activities to help you simmer down, drink some Simmer Dim.
Autumn
Lady Mary's Walk, Crieff.
Months: September, October and November.
Temperature: 8°C (46°F) to 14°C (57°F).
Months: September, October and November.
Temperature: 8°C (46°F) to 14°C (57°F).
Walking alone in the broad daylight, when the ample yellow brownish leaves fall on your hair. Pick it up and stick it in between your notes. Have you ever done this to preserve a leaf? No words can describe how beautiful the scenery during Autumn in Scotland is. The fresh coldness and taste of the water in Hermitage will make you feel relaxed and calm. There are also very unique views such as Ballindalloch Castle. The highlands will make you feel fantastic, the smell of the forest and the calmn sound of a red squirrel in Glen Trool. This will make you want to venture deeper into the forest.
It is a perfect way to relax from a bustling city and appreciate the beauty of nature around you. For more Autumn activities click here. If you still doubt in your heart that you should visit Scotland then I should tell you about the attractions for Winter.
Winter

Not all the water in Scotland will freeze during Winter so you should also try to kayak at Loch Leven. There are so many reasons to visit Scotland so, GAUN YERSEL!
