Introduction
Everyone has a desire to travel either within their own country or overseas but the main barrier to achieving these dreams is MONEY! Scout Oor Land will develop a few tips that you can look into so this barrier can be removed. Before we begin it is advised that you set a target, location and date. this will allow you to have a clear plan for your vacation.
Keep Away £1 Every Day
Do not push yourself too hard in saving money. It all starts with small values so take a tin can with a personalised label to ensure you do not drop the coins on top of beans! See the below You Tube video on how to make your own personalised piggy bank.
Finding A Passive Income
Social media has been widely used as one of the platforms to generate income. Some of the Instagram influencers become rich just by taking a paid review or selling their products online. If you are not confident enough to make your own You Tube channel and talking to people face to face why not take part in a dropship? There are a few free drop ship companies such as Oberlo, Aliexpress and Dropship Direct. There are thousands of ways to make money if we put our mind to it so what are you wating for, register for dropship now! A success story is John Robb who turned memes into money. Can you turn tears into pearls?
Become A Personal Shopper
Before you start travelling, use your social media and advertise about your vacation. Perhaps someone will privately ask if you are able to help them buy something from your vacation. You can ask them to deposit the money first and some extra charges for your services. Make sure you already get the deposit! Check this page out on how social media influencers used their creativity in making money! Take every single opportunity that appears in front of you.
Start Saving From Small Amounts
Similar to the first tip, start saving small amounts of your money because this will reduce the burden of one lump sum. Why not keep your spare change after grocery shopping? Even if you keep £1 per day, by the end of the month you could have £30. If you keep £5 per day it will be more amazing! You should try the following tips below that have not been tested:
- Write down the 3 common notes you always find (£5, £10, £20) on 3 different pieces of paper. It is advised that you use normal paper because if you use baking paper it will turn into cookies. After you have done this, you should imagine it is real money.
- Fold up a note and throw it. It is completely up to you where you want to throw it, to the air, to the floor or in your face. When you pick the note back up it will be duplicated.
- Ask someone if you can borrow some money and store it in your bank. You should ask them again before giving it back and pretend that you did not receive any the first time. This can be classed as stealing so be careful.
- My final untested tip is to take a picture of a note, insert it into a Microsoft Word document and print it out. These tips are by no means going to guarantee money but one can only dream.
Save Money From Buying Books or Newspapers
Why read a book offline when you can read it online! Instead of buying books, why not search for the PDF of that book and read it through? If you are bored you can check to see if anyone has taken pictures of the book and uploaded them to Google. You can also ask the library but make sure you return it on time or you will lose money.
Limit Your Weekend Activities
TGIF! It is time to party? This will cost you a lot of money so no, it is not time to party. It is time to stay at home and drink tap water with your friends. If you find yourself bored at the weekend you can try volunteering around your communities. This will make you feel good also.

DeleteI enjoyed this post, you can really see more personality added in this one, the light-hearted feel and humour makes it considerably more enjoyable to read. I think more blogs should be written with this approach, it is not just your pocket that will be smiling whist reading this.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind words! I was experimenting with the humour because I did not feel that my previous two posts were as fun haha. If people do not visit Scotland, I hope to make everyone smile.
